Meet the Liberty Team Behind Otto’s Garage Door

We’ve been turning wrenches in Liberty County since 2004, and the crew you’ll see at your door is the same crew you’ll run into at the feed store on Saturday. No subcontractors, no rotating cast of strangers. Just four people who live here, work here, and answer to a name painted on the side of the van. Otto Reinhardt built this business one spring at a time, and he hired people who understand that a garage door is 200 pounds riding on two springs. Respect it, fix it right, and treat every driveway like it belongs to a neighbor. Because around here, it usually does.

Otto Reinhardt, Owner

Otto started this company in 2004 with one truck, a box of springs, and a phone number he answered himself. Twenty-nine years of garage door work later, he still answers that phone, often at nine at night when a spring lets go and your vehicle is sealed inside. He quotes the job on the call and holds that number when he gets there. Otto is certified across LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor, and he can tell you the cycle count left on a spring the way other folks read a tire gauge. He’s a palindrome, which he’ll mention if you give him half a chance, and he’ll also mention that Liberty humidity warps a door panel the same way it warps everything else, so you might as well have someone who knows which panels hold up. If it’s not done right, Otto comes back. That’s not a slogan. It’s on the invoice, in writing, for ninety days.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with Otto’s Garage Door for twelve years, longer than anyone except Otto himself. He started as an apprentice, spent five years learning how a torsion spring under tension behaves when it’s been soaking in Gulf Coast humidity, and now runs the tougher repair calls in Liberty and Dayton. Marcus holds manufacturer certifications on LiftMaster and Genie openers, and he’s the one who figures out why a door is binding when everyone else just wants to swap parts. Off the clock, he’s rebuilding a 1978 Ford F-150 in his garage, which means he understands exactly how frustrating it is when a door won’t open and your truck is trapped behind it.

Delia R., Senior Installer

Delia joined the crew nine years ago and has installed more than 600 doors in Liberty County, from basic steel panels to custom carriage-house doors on new construction out toward Moss Hill. She’s the person you want measuring your opening, because she gets the numbers right the first time and she’ll tell you honestly if a door is too heavy for your existing tracks. Delia is certified on Clopay, Amarr, and Wayne Dalton product lines, and she keeps a running list of which neighborhoods have settling issues that throw doors out of square. She’s also the crew’s resident weather watcher, which matters more than you’d think when a cold front hits and every opener in town starts acting up at once.

Jesse P., Service Coordinator & Apprentice Technician

Jesse is the first voice you hear when you call Otto’s Garage Door, and he’s been answering that phone for four years. He knows the service area block by block, which means he can usually tell you whether your no-trip-charge county applies before you even ask. Jesse is working through his installer certifications with Marcus and Delia, and he rides along on installs to learn how a properly balanced door should feel. He grew up in Liberty, graduated from Liberty High School, and his grandmother lives three streets over from the shop, so he has a personal interest in every job being done right. When Jesse says Otto will call you back in ten minutes, Otto calls you back in ten minutes.

One Standard, Every Job

Every person on this crew carries the same set of rules, and they’re not complicated. The price quoted on the phone is the price on the invoice. The parts go on the truck before we leave the shop, not after we see your door. The work is done to manufacturer spec, whether it’s a $40 roller replacement or a full door swap. And if it’s not done right, we make it right within ninety days, in writing, backed by one call to Otto himself. No runaround, no customer-service queue. The name on the van is the name on the invoice and the name on the license. That’s how we’ve done it since 2004, and that’s how the person standing in your driveway will do it tomorrow.
